Welcome to TidalCycles Sketches for Rave*4 $$$$ EP, a 14 minutes of purest rave sounds and computer music coded live in TidalCycles.

Dancefloor hoover, tempo interruptions, frenetic rhythms, chopped amen breaks and mutant textures.

The album has been programmed totally in tidalcycles and minimally edited in ableton with eq and compression.

This is my first contribution to the world of live coding, where I experiment with styles that I usually listen at home like IDM, jungle, techno, ambient, noise, drone o experimental music.

TidalCycles is a live coding environment designed for musical improvisation and composition, is free/open source software, that allows you to make patterns with code, whether live coding music at algoraves or composing in the studio.
In particular, it is a domain-specific language embedded in Haskell, focused on the generation and manipulation of audible or visual patterns
